With its vertiginous cliffs and its protected natural environment, the Saguenay Fjord is certainly one of the most spectacular places in the world for sea kayaking. If you have your own equipment, you can use the quay or the Saint- Etienne as the starting point of your adventure. If you want to take a guided excursion, Saint-Etienne beach is your meeting point.

Between 1901 and 1927, Val-Jalbert vibrated happily to the rhythm of its pulp mill. In 1901, when the factory was built by Damase Jalbert, the village was called “Ouiatchouan”, after the fall that fed the mill to make wood pulp.

Recognized for its exceptional powder snow conditions, Mont-Édouard has more than thirty trails for all levels of skiers. A veritable mountain resort rising to an altitude of 635m, Mont-Édouard offers a variety of activities for winter lovers. Discover the via ferrata circuit on the imposing walls of Eternity Bay. Three itineraries will allow you to discover striking views of the most impressive bay of the Saguenay Fjord, which changes scenery according to the tides.

During the ascent, you will progress safely and at your own pace. The hikes are offered accompanied by a professional guide. You will live an exclusive experience in a small group (maximum 8 people), which ensures the proximity of the professional guide throughout the hike.
